Remarks: Went on line and found the HSBC American Express Card. Figured I would be denied due to a BK 09/2001. Surpised as I received approval for CL $6,500 (Cash Limit $3,250). FICO Scores TU 707 EX 707 EQ 697. Annual Income $82,000. No baddies other than BK. Note, already had an HSBC Platinum MasterCard with Cashback option since 2005. The account number on the card is an American Express Account Number and accesses 2,200 Amercian Express Travel Offices with cash access through CIRRUS ATM Networks. Earns rewards at 1.25 points for every dollar. Adding up fast.

Remarks: I obtained this card back in September ’07 when I received a pre-approval in the mail. I applied for the card and waited about three months to activate it since I wasn't sure if I wanted to use it or not. During the three months I was able to obtain a "Real" Amex card so I decided that this card was no longer necessary but I wanted to keep the card just incase some sort of emergency came up. Well I received a letter today from HSBC American Express stating that they have made a decision to close my account based on inactivity. So if you’re apply for this card make sure you use it at least once a month or you may find yourself receiving the same letter I did.

Remarks: My husband was sent a Pre-Approved off in the mail @ the end of December of 2007. I applied online for him and was approved instantly. Credit limit is $2000.00 and his credit score with TransUnion is 690 but I am not sure if that is the credit bureau they checked. It does have a rewards program. Will update you on this card soon when we use it. Received card on 1/03/2008
