User ReviewsTitle: HSBC and a CLI Date Reviewed: 2008-03-18 15:51:41 | Recommended?: Yes Remarks: HSBC is just a cheap British bank. $1,000 limit and 1 year old today. I spoke with the credit department about getting a CLI, 45 minutes of fighting got me a whooping 500. It is my intention to put all HSBC cards in the draw and use them as needed. 3 CBs at 700 or better they are making it very difficult for customers who pay their bills on time every time in full each month to get CLI\'s

Title: HSBC American Express Card?????? Date Reviewed: 2007-08-31 21:37:54 | Recommended?: Yes Remarks: Hey guys, I just received a pre-approved invitation in the mail today to apply for the new HSBC American Express Card. Has anyone heard of this before? I'm really intrigued but would like to find out more information so if anyone can provide some feedback that would be greatly appreciated. The invitation has 0% fixed APR until June 2008 and $0 annual fee and it can be used anywhere American Express is accepted.
Title: Great Credit Card Date Reviewed: 2007-01-01 17:43:25 | Recommended?: Yes Remarks: I applied and got approved instantanly! My FICO was a little lower then what was specificed...but I got approved with a high limit and 0% Balance transfer for a year, cash rewards and a great intrest rate. I have another card with HSBC and they are great to do business with.
FYI- Before you apply they preapprove you without a hard credit pull and they let you know which card(s) you qualify for, then you make the decision weather or not you want to apply. Once you decide to apply they pull your credit report (a hard pull).
