Title: Instant Approval Online !

Remarks: Got a preapproval offer and was offered a slightly different offer on the same card....Accepted it, and was instantly approved for $1000 CL. This is my first prime card, and I am excited. It will allow me to close my secured card and another low limit card... I know this card will grow with me :) Current Fico scores are TU 675, and EQ 635.... not sure who they pulled.

Title: Not Instantly Approved. Next Day On The Phone.

Remarks: I would have to say I was surprised I was approved. I have not had an active CC since I was in my 20s. I turned 40 this week and I have finally cleaned up my credit. I still have 2 med bills in collections (6 years old) and the only score I know of is my Equifax at 708. I only tried because Hyundai approved me for a new car. My limit to begin is $1000.00 apr was 6.9% for the first 6 months and 18.99% after

Remarks: Got a Pre-Approval letter in the mail. Applied online and was not instantly approved. Called in about an hour later and talked to a credit analyst. He approved me over the phone and gave me a $500 credit limit. I am trying to rebuild my credit and this is my second card. I also have a secured card. Not sure of the APR or what report they pulled yet. I requested that they send me a copy and will update when I get that info. Experian score, 627

Remarks: Approved with a 676 Credit Score for $3,000. My other combined lines of credit are $8,000. Most cars are giving me $1-1.5K, Discover threw $3k at me :)

Title: Approved; Great card for transferring balances
Date Reviewed: 2011-10-09 18:13:10 | Recommended?: Yes
Remarks: I was given an instant approval online. However, to complete the application they asked I call and verify a few things, they did not ask for any income facts (like other FG members have stated). Initial credit line $3,000; I did ask for a higher limit during the phone call and rep explained Discover is typically conservative during the first six months with customers and to expect an increase after that point in time. Last known Equifax credit score: 722, unfortunately I haven't pulled my credit report in a few months so this may have changed. My primary reason for applying, to take advantage of the 0% balance transfer option for 15 months. I have been spending a bit too much the last 2-3 months and I think this is great way to consolidate balances, which are currently spread out awkwardly on separate cards. The customer service rep was very nice, and I look forward to talking with them again if necessary. I was only able to transfer 3 balances during the application; however, the rep indicated I can transfer more online anytime. My balances are small but spread out on other cards so this was kinda annoying. I am 21 years old, my first credit card was in 2008 after graduating high school. I hope this helps.
