User ReviewsTitle: Approved Last Week Date Reviewed: 2008-11-19 18:26:04 | Recommended?: Yes Remarks: Just received my BOA American Express Card today with an initial $4,000 CL. I called to activate the card this afternoon, and requested a credit line increase to do a couple of balance transfers. BOA instantly increased my CL to $8,200! They also do CL increases every 3 months (per your request) and it's a soft pull. So far, I am excited to have this card and can't wait to put it to good use... FYI, my Equifax score as of today is 766. Go and get this card if you do not already have one, it's worth it... guaranteed!
Title: Great Card... Date Reviewed: 2008-11-15 02:09:38 | Recommended?: Yes Remarks: I have had this card for just around 6 months now. Scores from 698-710. Approved for $5,000 with 9.99% APR. The rewards program is the best I have used so far. They have everything from cash to airline rewards, and starts at only 2,500 points. 1.25 points for every $1 spent. I would recommend this card to anyone out there looking for an AMEX card that doesn't want to see their limit get cut.
Title: Received Pre-approval Date Reviewed: 2008-11-14 20:11:12 | Recommended?: Yes Remarks: Received Pre-approval for Bank of America Accelerated Rewards American Express Card and I will Like to get some feed back on this card from the network
Title: Holy Cow! Date Reviewed: 2008-11-09 13:53:52 | Recommended?: Yes Remarks: So I went online today and could not resist applying for a reward card that gives 1.25 points per $. Went through the application and thought if I should hit the submit button. Waited 5 minutes thinking about it and then went what the heck! Just do it. Did it, waited 30 seconds and the answer came back. It said
"Congratulations, your credit card application has been
approved with a $13000 credit line! You will receive
your credit card within 7 to 10 days and the Welcome
Package within 10 - 14 days at the address you
provided."
I just needed an Am Ex in the wallet just in case (all my cards are Visa and Mastercard) and I was very surprised at such a high limit. My scores are 750+ on Equifax and Transunion and 727 on Experian. Not sure which one they checked. I have a BofA mastercard with a 7.5k limit. Seems like BofA are still givingout credit.
Lets see when I activate the card if they can bump me up to $20k.
Title: Approved Date Reviewed: 2008-10-31 19:54:11 | Recommended?: Yes Remarks: After I got a CLD from my Amex Clear, I went on to apply for this card. I don't have a card that gives airline rewards. On the BofA website to this card, it states that for every dollar that I spend, I get 1.25 WorldPoints. I can redeem those for cash, unrestricted travel, hotel benefits, car rentals, merchandise, and gift certificates. I really like the choices that I get for using this card. I have had this card for two months and have used it a few times (paid in full every month). I have racked up over 100 points. The customer service is great and didn't try to sell me anything like other companies do. The card is black and looks really cool, but I really love my rewards. This will be the card that I am going to use for my vacations and such. What I dislike is the fact that in the user agreement that they do state that the pay by date is never the same, so I can't count on it being the same day every month. My credit limit is $2,000 and the APR is 15.99%, but when you pay in full every month, the interest rate does not matter much.
